WELCOME TO THE ACADEMY

At Kingdomcity, we believe the Great Commission is not just a mandate, but our mission: to make disciples of all nations and see God’s Kingdom established across the earth. What began almost 20 years ago in Kuala Lumpur has grown into a global movement in over 20 nations—but this is still just the beginning. The gospel must keep advancing, and God is calling men and women to rise and plant His church in new cities and new generations.

The Lead Pastor Academy (LPA) is Kingdomcity’s intentional 12-month training pipeline designed for those who know they are called to plant a Kingdomcity campus within the next year. More than a program, it is a finishing school for future lead pastors—equipping, empowering, and preparing you to step out with clarity, courage, and confidence.

Over the course of a year, you will journey through online and hands-on training, an immersive season at one of our global hubs, and on-the-ground preparation in your city. This is an investment into your calling and the future of God’s church.

This is not just a course to attend, but a call to answer. If you know this is your calling, and you’re ready to make the commitment and take this next step, submit your expression of interest today.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Individuals (aged 25+) ready to plant a Kingdomcity campus within 12 months and commit at least 5 years thereafter to its growth.

Individuals fundamentally aligned with Kingdomcity’s Statement of Faith, 10 Atmospheres, and Vision Statement.

Individuals with a genuine love for Jesus, people, and the local church, called to full-time leadership and ministry.

Self-motivated, visionary, teachable, and Godly individuals who can cast vision, build teams, operate independently, and value the guidance and connection of a global church family.

TIMELINE

The 12-month journey is divided into three distinct phases: six months of training, two months of intensive immersion at a Kingdomcity global hub, and four months of preparation leading up to the launch.

TRAINING

(6 MONTHS)

During the first six months, applicants engage in a Training Program which consists of online equipping classes, group discussions, and mentoring. This phase focuses on building strong spiritual disciplines, like prayer, fasting, and personal disciplines alongside practical components that include starting connect groups, identifying core teams, and preparing for a launch.

INTENSIVE

(2 MONTHS)

The Intensive Phase, (between three to eight weeks) are spent in an intensive, hands-on experience at a Kingdomcity global hub. This immersive stage allows participants to engage with Kingdomcity staff and teams, experience the DNA and culture of the church firsthand, gain behind-the-scenes insights, receive ministry and impartation, and be exposed to every area of church operations.

PRE-LAUNCH

(4 MONTHS)

The Pre-launch Phase, which is the final four months, serve as the lead-up to launch, where participants focus on building momentum: organising interest nights, gathering a core team, planning logistics, securing a venue for services, running church-at-home gatherings, and laying the groundwork for a strong launch runway.
